The Bassmint Dayse HeadingThe
"One Sunday in 1992 after morning church
service the pastor asked me if I'd be interested in learning some bass and joining the church band.

That very day, against everything I knew about remembering the Sabbath and keeping it holy, I began working on a project that would essentially lead to the end of my working days and make me an artist."
It was a Monday in 1992 and I was a sophomore in high school when I took my first guitar project to school. Reluctantly my shop instructor allowed me to work on my guitar during class.
While my peers worked on birdhouses and clocks I was showing up to class with boxes of parts from Stew-Mac and making jigs to build my first guitar. It was the first time in my life that music and woodworking had found a harmony with each other. I knew instantly it was my calling.

My first attempt at building a guitar was a flop and my mom even told me not to quit my job just yet.
